Why the PEACE SIGN? One simple reason is that the PEACE SIGN is a simple icon and easy to paint, and communicates my desire to create and share something positive. Since I will be creating 365 pieces of “peace” artwork over the upcoming year, “easy and simple” is a necessity for sure, don’t you think?

Rock Solid Peace

Thinking of my longtime childhood friend Steve, who lives in Alaska- we both share a passion for rocks. Steve sends me polished rocks from the north shore of Alaska, north of the arctic circle.
Today I use these rocks to form my PEACE!
Friendships bring rock solid comfort and peace in difficult times.
