Why the PEACE SIGN? One simple reason is that the PEACE SIGN is a simple icon and easy to paint, and communicates my desire to create and share something positive. Since I will be creating 365 pieces of “peace” artwork over the upcoming year, “easy and simple” is a necessity for sure, don’t you think?

Tri - Peace
5-5-11
I'm into the 5th month of creating One small daily "Peace" of Art and at times I wonder if I'll have the energy to continue for the whole year. Other times I can't seem to stop myself..... even if I wanted to. Daily creating has now become a habit, a desire, and something I don't want to go without.
This discipline has my creative juices flowing and this has a positive impact on all the areas of my life.
Some days my spirit won't stop at just one peace! As on this day.... three (tri) pieces were created on small canvases. These will look cute hanging together on my yellow kitchen wall!

Refocus on Peace

Revenge and vengeance is usually not something I believe in, however I don't know what I would feel IF I had lost a loved one on 9-11..... perhaps a celebration is appropriate today.... but then let us move on to Refocus on PEACE.
