Why the PEACE SIGN? One simple reason is that the PEACE SIGN is a simple icon and easy to paint, and communicates my desire to create and share something positive. Since I will be creating 365 pieces of “peace” artwork over the upcoming year, “easy and simple” is a necessity for sure, don’t you think?

Unexpected Peace

More wet paint that dries in some unexpected ways. After 10 months of making peace, I'm still surprised at what the paint will do when it dries. I like that!.... it's like when the world politics surprises me too in unexpected ways.

Cleaning out for Peace

This week, it is time for a fall cleaning in my art room! Not only do I have a big mess here, but I am running out of paint. So for this week I'll be seeing if I can make some interesting peace with the remaining drops in each bottle of paint..... then off to the art store for some fun new colors!
