We had dinner together last night and I was able to deliver her PEACE HUG to her in person!

PEACE HUG for Kelley

Today I am "practicing" for 2012.... I am sending my first PEACE HUG.
This special Peace Art goes to my friend Kelley, who needs to be reminded to reach for the light. This bright orange Peace, I hope, will put a smile on her face, cause she has a great smile!

 This small magnet Peace Art will be delivered in a CD jewel box.

Special Request Peace

I had a request to create some Peace Art for a Christmas gift for someone special using colors of green, yellow, white, blue.... I added the purple. More about the symbolism of these colors once the special Peace is chosen. I couldn't just stop at one Peace today.... I'm going to continue to experiment with these colors tomorrow.

Thanks to all who came out to support my first attempt at selling Peace Art locally here in Des Moines Iowa! My neighbor Deb purchased three of my large Peace Art. At first she just was going to hang them on the wall without a frame, but later changed her mind and found inexpensive black frames at the craft store and just tacked them to the outside of the glass.

I really liked the look without the fancy matting which I had been using to frame the larger Peace Art.

A reminder for those of you in the Des Moines area- This Saturday will be my first attempt at selling my Peace Art!

The annual Westminster Holiday Treasures Craft Fair is happening on Saturday, November 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Shop for hand-crafted items, original art, Christmas ornaments, fair-trade gifts, baked goods, gluten-free products, and more!        

 Free admission!  All are welcome -- so bring a friend or two! 

Westminster Church is at the corner of Beaver and Franklin in the Beaverdale!
